The underlying operation of Mesh Networking is that of a peer-to-peer network in which each element contributes equally to the transmission of a data packet. The various nodes of the network distribute the signal in the surrounding area and are intelligently interconnected.
The substantial difference with the classic router is the total redistribution of the roles of the elements that make up the network: the server-to-client system which placed the main modem/router at the top of the hierarchy as an indispensable element for the functioning of the entire system is set aside.
All IoT devices transmit data in the same way, forming a single large network, tipically formed by 100 devices.
